dbo.FactCallCenter is missing column for DayOfWeek

description

dbo.FactCallCenter is a table that was added to AdventureWorks to support neural network and logistic regression data mining models. The original data used for analysis included a column for day of week (Monday, Friday) etc. For some reason this column is not in dbo.FactCallCenter. However, day of week is a factor that is important for some mining models, specifically scenario analysis using the What If and Goal Seek wizards in the Data Mining Add-ins for Excel. Without that column, the correlations are much weaker.
Options: [1] add a column to dbo.FactCallCenter that explicitly lists the day of week, [2] Add a date column so that it is a little easier to calculate the day of week using DatePart, [3] add a view that calculates the day of week based on the existing int column, DateKey.
Option 3 makes for a better example in some ways.

The DayOfWeek is a Named Calculation, part of the Tutorial.
