Error 1721 - There is a problem with this Windows Installer package.

Hi,
 
I am also facing the same problem.
I am trying to install AdventureWorks DB on SQLServer 2008 November CTP but getting following error:
 
MSI (s) (2C:28) [11:59:56:257]: Product: Microsoft SQL Server 2008 AdventureWorksDB -- Error 1721.There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor. Look in the error log on the computer. Typically you get this error because you are trying to attach to an instance of SQL Server 2005. Do you have multiple instances on the same box, with 2005 being the default instance? In this case try the new installer which does a better job of handling installs in that situation.

I got also the Error 1721 and I believe this is just because I did not use the default installation paths.
Attaching the .mdf file manually using the SQL Server Management Studio worked fine for me.
You can also try attaching database files manually to solve the problem as a work around.
