Adventure Work 2008 Entity Model

I still don't understand the 'BusinessContact' entity. It has a 'many' to 'one' association with 'Person' and a 'many' to 'many' association with 'BusinessEntity' entity.
How can that work?
Anyone can explain this to me?

As a model they try to reflect as excact as possible the real life model. A person is a unique being at the universe, there are no clones or duplicates, no other person could be you and at the same be other human.

But a Person may be ejercing diferent roles as a Business Contact (but still being the same Person), or you may have a history of Business Contact roles ejerced for that person.
Those roles may be related to one (jobs promotions. ex. Supervisor, Sales Representative, Production Manager, CEO, etc. ) or diferent Business Entities (Companies) on same or diferent industries.
